Julia Gorin and Jonathan Baez: Musicality Workshop

Are you ready to bring your tango dancing to the next level? Join us for a musicality class with Julia Gorin and Jonathan Baez from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The class will focus on the practical aspects of musicality:
Phrases and beat. How to dance not only beat but also pauses. Rhythm and different rhythmical structures (beat, half beat, double beat, syncopation, rhythmical combinations). Melody. Structure of tango music. Different orchestras. How to find your own way of moving to the music. How to let the music enter into your dance and how to make your body move differently with different music.

7:00-8:30 pm class
8:30-9:30 practica (or possibly later…)

Cost is $25 per person/ per class or $40 if you also sign up for the Milonga class Oct.25th
