Tango in the Park – Summer 2017

Alive Tango Victoria is pleased to present four Saturday nights of sumptuous outdoor tango at the Cameron Bandshell in Victoria’s iconic Beacon Hill Park, once a month, all summer long!

FREE BEGINNER CLASS 6:00-7:00 pm.
Absolutely appropriate for raw beginners. Queer friendly too!

MILONGA: 7:00 – 9:30pm
(a social dance in tango lingo)

Wear shoes that allow you to pivot comfortably– no sticky rubber soles. We will have duct tape (for the bottom of your shoes) and baby powder on hand to help you out as the dance floor is coated concrete. Best to leave your finest footwear jewels at home, ladies, wear a shoe that is more serviceable.
