Beginner and Intermediate Tango lessons

Beginner tango lessons with rotating teachers from the Alive Tango Team are continuing in January 2018

Sundays: January 7, 14, 21 and 28
Beginner Classes: 7 – 8pm
Intermediate Classes: 8:15 – 9:15pm

Beginner Classes:

Designed for raw beginners with fewer than 12 hours of in-class tango experience, we will be building up new dancers with tango fundamentals, on which the rest of the dance relies: posture, balance, embrace, the walk, the beat, the fun, the friends.

Intermediate Classes:

Designed for dancers with a minimum of six months regular dancing instruction and experience.  Lessons will build on the tango fundamentals.  These classes focus on technique, musicality, and connection while added new steps to your repertoire, including turns, boleos, and sacadas.

$60 for 4 weeks of classes & Sunday practicas PLUS free entry to Alive Tango Tuesday practicas during the beginner session

Drop ins are welcome for $15 but do not include Tuesday practica entry.

Note: The January 7 and January 14 intermediate classes with Jorge are $20 per person
